SMALL FIGURE OF A KING,Spain or Portugal, beginning 18th century. Wood carved full round and painted "al estofado". Holding a crown of thorns in one hand. H 24.5 cm. Missing the cross which he probably held in the other hand.

Spanien oder Portugal, Anfang 18. Jh.
Holz vollrund geschnitzt und gefasst "al estofado". Der König stehend in edlem, in reichen Falten fallendem Gewand mit Umhang. Er trägt in der einen Hand eine Dornenkrone. H 24,5 cm. Das Kreuz, das er wohl in der anderen Hand hielt, fehlt.
