ARMCHAIR.China, 19th c. 67x52x11.5 cm. Hardwood. Backrest and armrests inlaid with mother of pearl, the seat is of reddish veined marble. The central medallion of the backrest and the surrounding openwork areas are adorned with various auspicious Daoist symbols. Individual mother of pearl inlays lost, marble slab broken.

China, 19. Jh. 67x52x11,5 cm.
Hartholz. Lehne und Armlehnen mit Permutteinlagen, die Sitzfläche aus rötlich gemasertem Marmor. Das zentrale Medaillon der Rückenlehne und die durchbrochenen Partien darumherum sind geschmückt mit verschiedenen daoistischen Glückssymbolen. Einzelne Permutteinlagen verloren, Marmorplatte gebrochen.
