A GILT COPPER FIGURE OF MANJUSHRI WITH GLASS INLAYS. Tibet, 17th c. Height 13 cm. Consecration plate lost. Heavily cleaned.

Feuervergoldetes Kupfer mit türkisfarbenen Glaseinlagen. Der Bodhisattva der Weisheit sitzt in vajrasana auf einem doppelten Lotosthron, die Hände sind lehrend vor der Brust erhoben. Neben den Schultern erblühen zwei Lotusblumen, welche seine Attribute Schwert und Buch tragen. Sockelplatte verloren. Stark gereinigt.
