WALL CLOCK,

late Biedermeier, Vienna, 2nd half of the 19th century.
Wood, carved with garlands, a fruit basket, carrier figures and a satyr head, and gilt and painted bronze. White enamel dial. Movement with anchor escapement, striking the 1/4-hour on 2 bells. Striking mechanism can be switched off. Movement needs to be cleaned.
H 95, W 46 cm.
