PENDULE "AUX NEGRES", Empire, France circa 1810/20. Matte and polished gilt bronze also partly burnished bronze. The case with figures conducting trade, exotic birds and ornament. The clock with enamel dial, Paris movement striking the 1/2 hours on bell, fine bronze mounts and applications. 28x11x36.5 cm.

Bronze matt- und glanzvergoldet sowie teils brüniert. Strohballenförmiges Uhrgehäuse auf Rechtecksockel mit Kreiselfüssen und Reliefszene mit einem Europäer und einem Eingeborenen beim Handeln. Auf dem Sockel 2 stehende Mohren mit Federkrone, exotischem Vogel, Muschel und kleiner Schmuckschatulle. Emailzifferblatt mit arabischen Minuten- und römischen Stundenzahlen. Pariser Werk mit 1/2-Stundenschlag auf Glocke. Feine Bronzebeschläge und -applikationen. 28x11x36,5 cm.
