INCENSE BURNER. Probably Venice, 2nd half of the 18th century.Boat-shaped bowl with a hinged lid. Open-worked, small handles on both sides. Chased image of Mary and a saint. Body with foliate engraving over stepped and chased round hollow foot with node. 18x7 cm. 240 g. Considerable repairs.

Bootförmige Schale mit halbseitig aufklappbarem, scharniertem Deckel. Beidseitig durchbrochene, kleine Henkel. Getriebene Marien- und Heiligenfigur als Dekor. Korpus mit Blattgravuren über getrepptem, allseitig graviertem und getriebenem, rundem Hohlfuss mit Nodus. 18x7 cm. 240 g. Starke Reparaturstellen.
