CHEST OF DRAWERS "A FLEURS",Louis XV, by J. DUBOIS (Jacques Dubois, maitre 1742), guild stamp, the bronzes with "c couronné" Paris circa 1745. Tulipwood, rosewood and precious woods in veneer and finely inlaid on all sides in "bois de bout" with flowers, leaves and frieze. The shaped carcase with salient front angles, the centrally bombé front with 2 sans traverse drawers and exceptionally rich matte and polished gilt bronze mounts, applications and sabots. The veneer restored and replaced in parts. 131x60x90 cm. Provenance: Château de Vincy, West Switzerland. A perfect example of an important salon chest of drawers from the Louis XV period.

Louis XV, von J. DUBOIS (Jacques Dubois, Meister 1742), Innungsstempel, die Bronzen mit "c couronné" (eine Steuermarke, die zwischen 1745 bis 1749 auf alle Kupfer enthaltenden Legierungen angebracht wurde), Paris um 1745.
Rosenholz, Palisander und Edelhölzer gefriest sowie allseitig ausserordentlich fein eingelegt in "bois de bout"; Blumen, Blätter und Zierfries. Geschweifter, trapezförmiger Korpus mit vorstehenden vorderen Eckstollen auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit geschweiften Beinen. In der Mitte gebauchte Front mit 2 Schubladen ohne Traverse. Ausserordentlich reiche, matt- und glanzvergoldete Bronzebeschläge, -applikationen und -sabots. Furnier restauriert und teils ergänzt. 131x60x90 cm.
