PLATE, probably Nevers, 2nd half of the 18th century. With central medallion enclosing a ship in blue, manganese and ochre yellow. D 23cm. Minor chip to rim and typical flaking of the glaze. Provenance: private collection, South Germany

Passig geschweifte Form, bemalt mit einem Medaillon im Zentrum, darin ein Schiff und ein Seeungeheuer in Blau, Mangan und Ockergelb, der Rand mit kleinen Blümchen und Ringbordüre. D 23cm. Kleiner Randbestossung und typische Absplitterung der Glasur.
