RECTANGULAR BOWL 'AU PANIER FLEURI', Rouen, circa 1720-40. Painted in blue and iron red with a basket of flowers over acanthus console. D 31.5cm. Wear to edge and slight flaking of glaze on the edge. Provenance: private collection, South Germany

Polygonale Form, bemalt in Blau und Eisenrot mit einem Blumenkorb über eine geschwungenen Akanthusblattkonsole, der hochgezogene Rand abgeschlossen durch eine formale Gitterwerkbordüre und alternierenden Blattmotiven, auf der Randaussenseite eine blaue Blattbordüre. D 31,5cm. Randbestossung und leichte Absplitterungen der Glasur am Rand.
