MANTEL CLOCK "LE CHAR DE TELEMAQUE",Empire, the model by J.A. REICHE (Jean André Reiche, maitre 1785), the dial signed LEROY A PARIS (Basile-Charles Le Roy, maitre 1788), Paris circa 1810/15. Matte and polished gilt bronze. The case in the form of a chariot drawn by 2 horses with Telemach and Minerva. The clock with enamel dial in the form of a wheel with Paris escapement striking the 1/2 hours on bell. On rectangular plinth with "fasces" and fine bronze applications. The gilding partly rubbed. 50x12x45 cm. Provenance: private collection, Geneva.

Empire, das Modell von J.A. REICHE (Jean André Reiche, Meister 1785), das Zifferblatt sign. LEROY A PARIS (Basile-Charles Le Roy, Meister 1788), Paris um 1810/15.
Bronze matt- und glanzvergoldet. Gehäuse in Form eines von 2 Pferden gezogenen Streitwagens mit Telemach, der den Wagen lenkt, und Minerva mit Helm, Schild und Speer. Das Bronzezifferblatt in Form eines Rades, mit römischen Stundenzahlen. Pariser Werk mit 1/2-Stundenschlag auf Glocke. Auf Rechtecksockel mit "fasces" und feinen Bronzeapplikationen. Vergoldung teils berieben. 50x12x45 cm.
