PERFUME BOTTLE, SO-CALLED “ALABASTRON” - FROM A SWISS PRIVATE COLLECTION
Eastern Mediterranean, 5th century–4th century BC
Ultramarine blue glass with applied polychrome line and band decoration in turquoise, yellow and white. Miniature amphora with small loop handles, short neck and wide lip. Old glass cement on the reverse side. With a later base.
H without base 12.5 cm.
