WINGED SPEAR

German or Swiss, 2nd quarter of the 16th century.
Long, leaf-shaped blade, diamond section. Marks on both sides: six-leafed rosette. Blade ends in a short, solid base, ending in the rounded socket. Both sides of the socket feature a triangular, pierced wing. Two langets. Octagonal shaft.
L 231.5 cm.
