Louis XV, the dial signed I.F. LARSE A PARIS (Jean-François Larsé, active 1730/50), Paris, 18th century.
Wood, painted green all around. Bronze dial with 12 enamel plaques featuring the hours in Roman numerals. Replaced anchor movement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Opulent matte and polished gilt bronze mounts and applications.
