THE 9TH DALAI LAMA.Tibet, 19th century H 17.5 cm. Parcel gilt copper alloy. The garments adn the cushion are decorated with engraving. Two small holes on the shoulders point to two missing lotus flowers. Identified by the inscription verso.

Kupferlegierung, teilvergoldet. Die Rechte in vitarkamudra erhoben, hält die Linke das Rad der Lehre. Das mehrschichtige Gewand und die Sitzkissen sind mit Mustern graviert. Zwei kleine Löcher an den Schultern verweisen auf zwei verlorene Lotosblumen. Die Inschrift auf der Rückseite identifiziert ihn als 9. Dalai Lama.
