Two further versions of this composition are known. One, signed and dated 1632 is in the Spanish Historical Society of America in New York (Spinosa, N./ Perez Sanchez, A.E.: L'Opera Completa de Ribera, Mailand 1978, p. 103, No 68, ill p. 102). The other was sold at Sotheby's in New York on 11. Jan 1996, Lot 225.
