FAIENCE COVERED JAR IN THE FORM OF A TURTLE, Brussels, Rue de Laeken, 18th century.Naturalistically moulded and painted in yellow and manganese red. With snake handle. L 20cm. Small hair crack on lid, the snake handle with old repair. Provenance: from a private collection, Lucerne. Formerly Fischer-Böhler antiques, Munich.

Naturalistisch modelliert und staffiert in Gelb und Manganrot. Der gewölbte und reliefierte Panzer mit einem gedrehten Schlangengriff bemalt in Türkis und Schwarz. L 20cm. Kleiner Haarriss im Deckel, Schlangengriff mit alter Reparatur.
