CUP AND SAUCER WITH THE FOSCARI COAT OF ARMS, Meissen, circa 1735-40.Each piece decorated with a crowned coat of arms of the Venetian Foscari family carried by two hovering putti. Underglaze blue sword marks, potter's mark oo in base ring of saucer, / and four quadrants in base ring of cup, three dots as gold mark. Gilding slightly rubbed. The painting of the coat of arms on the cup slightly retouched.

Jedes Stück bemalt mit einem bekrönten Wappen der Venezianischen Familie Foscari, getragen von zwei schwebenden Putti über einer umlaufenden Kauffahrteiszene bzw. Parklandschaftsszene mit eleganten Figuren, beide Ränder mit Goldspitzenbordüren, im Fond des Koppchens ein Landschaftsmedaillon mit einer Kauffahrteiszene in Purpur Camaïeu, eisenrote Doppellinienbordüren. Unterglasurblaue Schwertermarken, Dreherzeichen oo im Standring der Untertasse, / und vier Viertelkreise im Standring des Koppchens, drei Punkte als Goldmarke. Vergoldung etwas berieben. Die Bemalung des Wappens auf dem Koppchen minimal retouchiert.
