Barely legibly signed and dated lower left: CRichard(…)t Sass(…), 1866.

Provenance:
Swiss private collection.

Condition:
Oil on lined canvas. Paint surface with fine craquelure and superficial dirt and dust. Colour abrasion along the edges.
Under UV: some retouching along the edges and on the figures visible. Further smaller retouching in the background. Varnish appears in fluorescent green.
Dimension with frame: 109.5 × 90.5 cm.
