LARGE MANTEL CLOCK "URANIE",
Empire, the model by J.F. DENIERE (Jean François Denière, active until 1844), the dial signed JANET FABT DES BZES A PARIS (active ca. 1815/30), Paris ca. 1820/30.
Matte and polished gilt bronze and in part burnished bronze. Silver-plated dial. 2 fine hands. Movement with anchor escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Requires some restoration.
47x18.5x66 cm.
