Expressionist early works by the Swiss Bauhaus pupil who from 1926 went to the Kunstgewerbeschule Zurich with Gunta Stölzl and headed the textile class there. Hürlimann was also the instructor of the textile artist Elsi Giauque (1900-1989), from whose estate the woodcuts come. - Rare.
