Lot of four sheets: 1. Portrait Mll. H., 1922; 2. La demi mondaine, 1921; 3. Kartenspieler, 1921; 4. Shymmiy Babys, 1921.
Woodcuts, of which three on brownish transfer paper.
Each titled, signed and dated in pencil.
18.5 x 14.5 cm (No.1, sheet size) and 17.5 x 25.5 cm (No.2,3,4; sheet size).

Expressionist early works by the Swiss Bauhaus pupil who from 1926 went to the Kunstgewerbeschule Zurich with Gunta Stölzl and headed the textile class there. Hürlimann was also the instructor of the textile artist Elsi Giauque (1900-1989), from whose estate the woodcuts come. - Rare.
