TWO MINIATURE PORTRAITS OF LADIES
France, second half of the 18th century.
Mixed media on ivory. Both seated on an armchair in an elegant interior, one with a lap dog, the other with a book in her hand. Each framed in a crowned and gilded frame, embossed with flowers. Ending at the bottom in openwork rocaille, with the monograms AD and ECV.
With frame: 9.2 × 10.5 cm.
