LOT COMPRISING TWO SILVER AND ENAMEL BOXES
Austria and France, 19th/20th century.
Oval, gilt box from the workshop of Georg Adam Scheid, decorated with enamel on a yellow ground. A cameo applied to the hinged lid. The round, slightly larger box with gilt interior is from the workshop of Paul Fort and features ornamental walls and an enameled galant scene in translucent violet.
Ø 4 and 8 cm, 120 g. 900 silver and 950 silver.
Conditionreport:
Fine scratches and dents. The gilding of the smaller box shows wear. A crack in the enamel of the larger box. CHF 400 / 600 | (€ 410 / 620)
