BUREAU CABINET WITH CLOCK,Baroque, German, 18th century. Shaped walnut and burlwood. The front with hinged writing surface flanked by 2 drawers on each side above knee hole in front of compartment with door, between 2 additional doors. The upper section with central door between 2 drawers, flanked on each side by 5 additional drawers. The cornice with later clock with painted front, between 2 drawers. The clock with anchor escapement with striking on bell. Brass mounts and knobs. With old inventory number. Restoration required. 114x83x229 cm.

Barock, deutsch, 18. Jh.
Nussbaum und Wurzelmaser profiliert. Rechteckiger Korpus mit gesprengtem Volutengiebel auf wellig ausgeschnittener Sockelplatte. Front mit schräger, aufklappbarer Platte. Inneneinteilung mit 5 Schubladen auf 2 Reihen und 2 Geheimschubladen. Seitlich je 2 Schubladen über Beinaussparung vor Fach mit Türe, zwischen 2 weiteren Türen. Zurückgesetzter Aufsatz mit geschweifter Front und Zentraltüre vor herausnehmbarem Fach vor 6 Schubladen auf 2 Reihen, dahinter 8 Geheimschubladen auf 4 Reihen; seitlich, oben und unten 8 weitere Schubladen. Im Kranz spätere Uhr mit bemalten Fronton zwischen 2 Schubladen. Zifferring mit arabischen Stundenzahlen. Ankerwerk mit Schlag auf Glocke. Messingbeschläge und -knöpfe. Mit alter Inventarnr. Innen rot gefasst. Zu überholen. 114x83x229 cm.
