TEHRAN PALACE CARPET antique.Attractive collector's piece in very good condition. Dark central field with a rectangular prayer niche as the central medallion, and light corner motifs. The mihrab is finely patterned with columns, trailing flowers and palmettes in delicate pastel colors. The central field is decorated with small stylized flowers. Triple-stepped border in black and white with floral cartouches and trailing flowers. 415x630 cm. Provenance: M. Kremeyer collection, Vienna.

Schönes Sammlerstück in sehr guter Erhaltung. Dunkles Innenfeld mit rechteckiger Gebetsnische als Zentralmedaillon und hellen Ecklösungen. Das Mihrab fein gemustert mit Säulen, Blumenranken und Palmetten in zarten Pastellfarben. Innenfeld verziert mit kleinen, stilisierten Blüten. Dreistufige Bordüre in Schwarz und Weiss mit Blumenkartuschen und Blumenranken. 415x630 cm.
