Die weissen Ränder zum Schnitt hin minim gebräunt, das Selbstbildnis (Tafel 1) mit Notiz in blauer Tinte auf weissem Rand. Sämtliche Bll. verso mit 2 Sammlerstempel 'AR' u. 'JPS' im Kreis. Sixth edition. One of 230 copies.- The whole set of 80 plates on strong absorbent, woven paper. The sheets measure 340 x 240 mm of the normal edition.- Green half-canvas binding of the period with self-portrait of Goya on the front cover. (Outer margins a little browned and rubbed).- The plates are in beautiful, strong print, including the famous self-portrait (plate 1). The borders of the white margins slightly browned, self-portrait with note in blue ink on the white margin.- All plates are stamped with 'AR' and 'JPS' circled on the back.
