CARTEL CLOCK "AUX CHINOIS",Louis XV, the dial and movement signed DELORME LE JEUNE A PARIS (probably Jean-Philippe Delorme, active 1730/50), Paris circa 1740. Gilt bronze. Enamel dial. 2 fine gilt and engraved hands. Hinged, glazed pendulum window. Verge escapement striking the 1/2 hours on bell. H 55 cm. W 35 cm.

Vergoldete Bronze. Kartuschenförmiges, mit Zweigen, Blumen und Rocaillen verziertes Uhrgehäuse mit Aufsatz in Form einer sitzenden Chinesenfigur mit Sonnenschirm. Emailzifferblatt mit römischen Stunden- und arabischen Minutenzahlen. 2 feine, vergoldete und gravierte Zeiger. Aufklappbares, verglastes Pendelsichtfenster. Spindelwerk mit 1/2-Stundenschlag auf Glocke. H 55 cm. B 35 cm.
