STAINED GLASS "CONSTANCE CATHEDRAL CHAPTER",

probably by C. STILLHART (Caspar Stillhart, died 1548), dated 1543, Constance.
The central image depicting the coat-of-arms of the Diocese Constance, accentuated by the Madonna with an aureole (later supplement), surrounded by the coats-of-arms of the Clerics in the Chapter. The bottom inscribed: THUM DECHAN UND VEMEIN CAPITEL DES THUM / STIFTS ZU CONSTANTZ 1543. Supplement to the lower part of the pillar shaft. Diocese coat-of-arms, retouched. Several cracks in the glass and lead.
