The Breguet certificate confirms the sale to the Count of Malsoff on 18 June 1804 for the price of 600 Swiss francs. Breguet was not only an ingenious watchmaker, but also an innovative businessman: For the purchase of a Breguet Souscription, the prospective buyer made a down payment and, upon delivery, the final payment. This gave Breguet more security and financial room for maneuver.
Case No. 880 and case-maker's stamp JLJ (Jean-Louis Joly), large, smooth silver case with pink gold lunette.

Movement: Fine gold-plated manual winding movement No. 880 with ruby cylinder, parachute shock protection and temperature compensation.
