HABANER CUTLERY SET WITH KNIFE AND FORK IN A CASE
Habaner work, 17th century.
Tapered and oval brass handles inlaid with mother-of-pearl. The handle ends with engraved brass and inlaid with small brown/ocher stone beads and crowned with a flat mother-of-pearl bead and double knob end. Center-tipped iron blade, forged mark worn off. The fork with two tines (probably later). The quiver-shaped wooden case with leather cover, engraved brass fittings and brass handle and metal end piece. One piece of cutlery and one sharpening iron are missing.
L fork 16 cm; L knife 18 cm; L case 20.5 cm.
Slight traces of corrosion. Small losses, scratches and dents.
