WROUGHT-IRON ALTAR LAMP
Probably Rome, 17th century.
Wrought iron with dark patina. Tall, thin shaft on four curved, flat legs with scrolled feet. Openwork, bell-shaped candelabrum with twenty nozzles and ten spikes on three levels. Decorated with stylized flowers. Removable cross-shaped finial.
Ø 76 cm, H 228 cm.
Losses. Cross slightly loose, tip of the cross bent. Originally, the foot was connected by a stretcher.
