CHALICE COVER WITH IMPORTANT COAT OF ARMS
Italy, second half of the 18th century.
Polychrome silk, metal-, gold- and silver threads. Decorated with a central coat of arms (similarities to the coat of arms of the Mariotti family) in flowers and tendrils on a cream-colored background. Lace border made of metal thread.
50 × 51 cm.

- backed with red taffeta on verso<br>- vertical tear, not going all the way through, in the right third<br>- small holes in the cream ground<br>- border partly frayed<br>- few stains CHF 400 / 600 | (€ 410 / 620)
