CLOCK WITH WOODEN GEARS AND GLASS CARILLON
Probably Black Forest, early 19th century.
Open case with wooden gears, the front decorated with gilt leaves and with a painted dial with Roman hour numerals and Arabic minute numerals. Movement with lever escapement and long pendulum (missing), striking mechanism on two bells. Repeat function. Carillon with drum and 16 glass bells in an open belfry. Iron weights.
