Conditionreport:
Oil on canvas, lined. New stretcher, with paper adhesive strips along the margins. Verso upper left with a canvas reinforcement measuring circa 15 × 4 cm and lower right with a further canvas reinforcement measuring circa 8 × 6 cm. Paint surface with a fine network of craquelure. A continuous fine horizontal hairline crack visible at the top. A fine retouched vertical hairline crack visible centre right, beside the Madonna's face. Slight colour abrasion along the margins.<br>Under UV light a few small areas of retouching visible on the figures and in the background, as well as further areas of retouching along the aforementioned hairline crack. Varnish fluoresces unevenly greenish.<br>Overall in good condition.<br>Frame: 138 × 105.5 cm.
