Brooch, also wearable as a pendant, centred by 1 oval sapphire of ca. 4.5 ct, Ceylon, with no indications of high-temperature treatment, low-temperature treatment cannot be excluded. In a surround of circular-cut diamonds. The frame decorated with ribbon and scroll motifs set with diamonds. Total weight of diamonds ca. 1.5 ct. Detachable brooch fitting probably later. L ca. 3.9 cm.
