A SMALL CORAL BRANCH (CORALLIUM RUBRUM) IN A BRONZE MOUNT
Louis XIV, probably France, ca. 1700.
The mount with a baluster-shaped shaft on an openwork hexagonal base decorated with palmettes. Three openwork, curved clamping arms with serpent-head motifs.
H ca. 20 cm.
Coral restored, requires some additional refurbishment.
