KNIFE - The Embden Collection
2nd half of the 17th century.
Grip core made of horn with gilt metal applications and partially inlaid. Rounded grip end decorated with palmettes. Grip ferrule with multiple grooves. Engraved iron blade in the shape of a spatula with decorative tip. Etched decoration in the shape of a bird with a coat of arms cartouche at the tip, as well as roses and branches.
L 20.3 cm.
