Les ventes aux enchères de photographies attirent tout particulièrement les jeunes collectionneurs, à la recherche d’œuvres d'art à prix abordables. Le marché de la photographie prend ainsi de l’importance grâce à une clientèle toujours plus large. Les études du mouvement par Eadweard Muybridge, les portraits d'Amérindiens par Edward Curtis, les premières photographies de Jean-Gabriel Eynard ou James Anderson, les compositions de l’école du Bauhaus de Lázló Moholy-Nagy, Theodore Lux Feininger et Herbert Bayer, et celles d'avant-garde de Man Ray et Frantisek Drtikol font déjà partie des images iconiques de l’histoire photographique.

Les photographies des débuts de l’art moderne jusqu'aux photographies d'art contemporain d'artistes suisses comme Albert Steiner, Emil Meerkämper, Adolphe Braun, Robert Frank, René Burri, Balthasar Burkhard, René Groebli, Hannes Schmied, Fischli & Weiss sont représentées dans nos catalogues de ventes ainsi que les œuvres d'artistes internationaux comme Horst P. Horst, Ansel Adams, Henri-Cartier Bresson, Robert Doisneau, Richard Avedon, Bert Stern, Nobuyoshi Araki, Thomas Ruff, Wolfgang Tillmans, Richard Prince et Cindy Sherman.

Gabriel Müller, notre spécialiste et chef du département Photographie, se fera un plaisir d'examiner et estimer vos tirages en vue d'une éventuelle vente aux enchères. Nos ventes de photographies ont lieu en juillet et en décembre et les consignations sont acceptées jusqu'à fin avril et fin septembre.

Nous conviendrons d'un rendez-vous pour examiner vos œuvres à votre domicile ou dans l'un de nos bureaux à Zurich, Genève, Florence, Munich ou Düsseldorf. Vous recevrez ensuite nos estimations afin que vous puissiez prendre votre décision.
