See the same pendulum clock model by Pierre-Victor Ledure (bronze caster) and Hemon (watchmaker) in the Museo de Relojes in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, Spain (illustrated in Ottomeyer/Pröschel: Vergoldete Bronzen. Vol. I, Munich 1986, p. 350, fig. 5.7.2). This model is mentioned by Ledure in an offer for Würzburg in 1813, under the title “Amor, der gerade eine Rose aufblühen lässt.” The pendulum clock differs in the design of the base decoration and in the arch, which is missing on the pendulum clock on offer. The candelabra may have been added to the clock at a later date.
