SMALL INLAID CASKET
Venice, probably 15th–16th century. In the style of the Embriachi workshop.
Wooden core with geometric Certosina marquetry in various woods and bone, partly stained green and grey. Rectangular body with hinged cover, the moulded borders in bone. Interior originally lined with fabric. Iron lock. 1 key.
18 × 12.5 × 7 cm.
Minor additions and various losses.
