PAIR OF PAINTED CONSOLES
Napoleon III, France, late 19th century.
Carved wood and stucco with decorative friezes, foliage and laurel garlands, painted in cream and parcel-gilt. Rectangular top with rounded front corners, on baluster legs joined by a stretcher with a vase-form finial. White marble top.
