The front shows an unusually deeply-carved floral carving in the Osman-Persian taste. China, 19th century. L 10.5 cm. According to the owner, from the Palace of Sultan Mohamed VI, the last sultan of the Ottoman Empire, in Istanbul.

Ein Elefant wehrt sich verzweifelt gegen zwei attackierende Tiger. Während der eine bereits zu Fall gebracht wurde, hat sich der zweite auf dem Elefantenrücken festgekrallt. Dunkle Bronze, die Stosszähne aus Elfenbein. Signiert: Seiya shû. Holzsockel. Japan, Meiji-Periode, H 33 cm.
