SIDEBOARD WITH "PIETRA DURA" AND "PIETRA PAESINA",Louis XIV style, some of the plaques from the 17th/18th century, the furniture piece from a Paris master workshop, circa 1840/70. Shaped ebony with "Pietra Dura" and "Pietra Paesina" plaques. Front with 3 doors. Exceptionally fine, matte and polished gilt bronze mounts and applications. "Vert de Mer" top edged in bronze. 180x52x123 cm. Provenance: - Formerly P. Hayem, Paris. - From an American collection.

Louis XIV-Stil, die Plaketten teils aus dem 17./18. Jh., das Möbel aus einer Pariser Meisterwerkstatt, um 1840/70.
Ebenholz profiliert, die "Pietra Dura"- und "Pietra Paesina"-Plaketten mit Landschaften, Gebäuden und geometrischen Motiven. Rechteckiger Korpus mit vorstehendem Blatt auf bogenförmig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit Vierkantfüssen. Architektonisch gegliederte, bastionsförmige Front mit 3 Türen zwischen markanten Pilastern. Ausserordentlich feine, matt- und glanzvergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -applikationen in Form von Rosetten, Girlanden, Blättern und Zierfries. In feinen, profilierten Bronzestab gefasste "Vert de Mer"-Platte. 180x52x123 cm.
