FINE ROCOCO COMMODE

Berne ca. 1750/55. By Matthäus Funk (1697–1783).
Walnut and walnut burlwood, inlaid in fillets and reserves. Front with two sans-traverse drawers, the drawers with brass fluting. Marble top with shaped edge, later. Bronze mounts, designed as shells, rocailles, scrolled leaves and sabots. 1 key.
97 × 55 × 84.5 cm.
