PAINTED CLOCK ON PLINTH,Louis XV, France, 18th century. The movement and dial signed JOFFROY À BESANCON. Curved, wooden case, painted red and with opulent bronze applications designed as flowers, leaves, rocailles and a bird. Bronze dial with white enamel cartouches. Movement with verge escapement string the 3/4-bells. H 123 cm. Painting, later. Bronze, in part later.
