VOTIVE STATUETTE
Egypt, Late Period of Ancient Egypt, 664-332 B.C.
Bronze with a green and reddish patina. Cat in an upright crouching position, the tail nestled against the right half of its body. Pointed head with erect ears. Pierced ears for gold jewelry (jewelry missing). Fixed on a later wooden plinth.
H without plinth 13.5 cm.
Pierced ears. Legs restored. Highly restored.
