PAINTED CUPBOARD,

Toggenburg, from the workshop of Johannes Bartholomäus Thäler, inscribed ANA ELISABETHA GROSS and dated 1837.
Pinewood, opulently painted with rectangular reserves, flowers, pillars and partly grained. 4 small round reserves depicting shepherds and animals in a mountain landscape. The door paneling depicting a couple (top) and a man playing the flute (bottom). Chased brass escutcheon. Damages to the lacquer. The inside painted throughout, later. 1 key.
