Very interesting photo documentation of the Swiss company Zschokke during the construction of the new platform at the eastern pier in Venice. The prints show plans and construction calculations, construction workers at work, cranes, cargo ships, steam engines, rail wagons, cement mixing machines, and the like.
The prints somewhat scratched, partly slightly foxed (heavier in the front), occasionally slightly faded, 1 print with a small tear in the margin (approx. 1 cm), another print with slight paper abrasion (minimal image loss), 1 print with a tiny corner tear. The mounts slightly browned and foxed, partly slightly curved. Album slightly rubbed, gold embossing faded, cover slightly curved, corners slightly bumped. Overall in good condition despite the above-mentioned condition issues.
