Showing City and landscape views, buildings, and sights around Paris and Villeneuve, such as the Hotel de Ville, Arc de Triomphe, Les Halles, Porte Denis, Champs-Élysées, Le Carrousel, Jardin de Luxembourg, St. Cloud, Theatre de Chatelet, Montmartre, Les Tuilleries, et. al. With photographs by H. Tournier, A. Cauterets, Ledot, etc. - Individual photographs with slight tears or tear-outs, areas of light spotting, slightly scratched, partly browned or faded, the mounts mostly somewhat stained and slightly spotted. Nevertheless, overall in good condition.
TOGETHER WITH: Vedute of Paris, c.1860-1880. 80 cartes-de-visites by E. Appert, Marinier, J. Deplanque, H. Plaut, Franck, Collin, etc. Albumen prints on (partly printed) cardboard. Prints approx. 8 × 5.5 cm each; mounts approx. 10 x 6.5 cm. Partly with handwritten annotations by an old hand. - Similar motifs as above. - The prints partly slightly scratched, occasionally browned and light spotting. The mounts minimally curved, mostly somewhat spotted and browned. Overall in good condition.
