A LARGE BRONZE FIGURE OF THE SEATED BUDDHA.

China, Ming dynasty, 16th c. Height 77 cm.
Seated in dhyanasana, with a serene face and a gentle smile, his hands held in dhyanamudra. His robes with incised decoration and a swastika symbol (wan) to the chest.

大佛陀坐像。

中國，明朝，16世紀，高77厘米。
深古銅色，漆金殘留。佛陀坐於蓮花座上，目光低垂，嘴角微微上翹，雙手結禪定印。胸部正中萬字符。
